This is a statue of a chirpy whistling tutor my family stumbled across on a visit to Guildford in 2016.
I was just setting this site up. But the site wasn’t published then. I am only publishing it now because lockdown has given me an opportunity to work on it again.
So I thought I’d leave him here because now in the constrained environments we find ourselves in during this terrible pandemic, I think it is very important to remember how much sheer joy people can find in their learning and in their teaching. And I am making that doffed mortar board my site’s icon. Old fashioned, yes. But so dynamic and so friendly. Welcome.
