I believe every student has great potential. Often a student will struggle and will need a bit of help, but it’s very rarely because of their ability. Finding the best possible approach for each individual helps students to get wherever they want to go, and sometimes find out where that could be.

Students study with me for a wide range of reasons. They might be:

• keen to achieve a specific grade for a university offer
• looking for advice or help with new concepts
• wanting to improve their revision or exam technique
• needing to catch up after illness or a rocky patch
• simply because they love Maths and want to learn more!

Whatever you need, there are times when a tutor can make all the difference. What we do will be guided by what you need to do.

I’ve taught in Peterborough schools for 15 years, and since 2016 I have also tutored students privately, most of them preparing to take GCSE and A level examinations, set by Edexcel or AQA. I have always loved Mathematics and solving complicated problems in a logical way. I studied Civil Engineering at university, went on to work as an engineer and later in financial computing. However I have always loved teaching Maths.
